What does the Bible really mean by repentance? Many think repentance means turning from sin to be saved, but Scripture shows true repentance is a change of mind. It is not works. Repentance is turning from unbelief to belief in Jesus Christ. The gospel is clear: we are saved by grace through faith, not by works (Ephesians 2:8-9). Belief is trusting fully in Christ โ€” His death, burial, and resurrection for our salvation.
