Ep.17: Jesus can be found all through the Original Qur'an!

When we put the Qur'an through the sieve of Textual criticism to find out what the original Qur'an was, we soon learn that the writers of the Qur'an borrowed material from Christian Aramaic, Ethiopic, Hebrew and even Gnostic writings. Yet, they didn't keep the borrowed text as they were but often changed the letters and words of those texts, especially where there were references to Jesus Christ, resulting in an adulterated text which stripped him of his divinity, and of his son-ship to God, while deleting any references to the trinity. They also borrowed Gnostic heretical stories of Jesus' childhood which are nowhere in the Bible, and created a Jesus who did odd miracles as a child (such as speaking from the cradle in Surah 3:46, or creating birds out of clay in Surah 3:49, and even helping his mother eat from a palm tree in Surah 19). They have Jesus denying his divinity as an adult, while confusing whether Mary was in the Trinity (Surah 5:116), and the writers let another man die in Jesus' place on the cross (Surah 4:157). So, in order to get back to that original text, we need to work backwards and return to the original writings, especially to the Syro-Aramaic material written between the 4th - 7th centuries from which they were borrowed. When we do, we will find the Christian Lectionaries, Christian homilies, and Christian hymns which were all about Jesus! So, by returning to the original Qur'an, what some call the "UR Qur'an", or the archetypal proto-Qur'an we will find that those writings were not about a prophet named Muhammad at all, but all about Jesus. Therefore, in order to get back to those original texts, we are going to have to move away from the Arabic which has adulterated the original texts, and replace the person of Jesus who was deleted from those texts, which means that we will have to learn to read Aramaic, and introduce it into our schools and seminaries.
