Christ delivers us. As I have said earlier, we are PARDONED… not paroled. Paroled means you have done your time, you have paid what you owed. Pardoned says - officially, you never did your crime. If we have been pardoned, there is no possibility that any condemnation can be attached to us. Because of Christ’s finished work, there is now no judicial sentence remaining against us (Romans 8:1).
