Identity and Purpose
🎯 Q: What is the primary reason God sent Jesus? A: God sent Jesus to remove sin so we could have union with the Father and manifest Him through our lives, not merely for blessings or heaven after death.
✨ Q: How do I understand my true identity according to Jesus? A: Jesus declared "You are the light of the world" (Matthew 5:14), a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden, meant to shine so others glorify the Father through your life.
🔄 Q: What does it mean that I was never made for myself? A: You were created for God's image and glory, not for yourself—settle this truth through prayer and understanding His Word to transform your perspective.
Daily Practice
⚔️ Q: What does carrying your cross daily actually mean? A: Deny yourself, pick up your cross, and follow Jesus daily to manifest His image, becoming the righteousness of God in Christ as He became sin for us.
💡 Q: How should I respond to darkness in the world? A: Light is greater than darkness—focus on shining your light instead of complaining, since darkness is simply the absence of light (Webster's Dictionary definition).
🙏 Q: What should replace ministry activities and Bible knowledge? A: Knowing God personally and maintaining fellowship with Him is what actually changes your life—don't let church attendance or ministry replace this direct relationship.
Relationships and Forgiveness
❤️ Q: How do I stop being hurt by past memories? A: Change your motive—memories only hurt because you think the person owes you something; if you don't change this motive, you'll give up on God like you bailed on people.
🕊️ Q: What is Jesus' approach to forgiving others? A: Forgive others as Jesus did by believing they don't know what they're doing, let go of offense and hurt, declaring your days of unforgiveness have ended.
💝 Q: How do I walk in love like Jesus? A: Take no account of suffered wrongs and pursue becoming love to resolve conflicts—this approach eliminates most counseling issues.
🪞 Q: Why is self-love important for loving others? A: You must love yourself to love your neighbor—if you don't like yourself, your neighbor's in trouble, as God's law requires loving Him and loving your neighbor as yourself.
Trials and Circumstances
🔥 Q: What should I focus on during trials instead of praying for change? A: Ask yourself what Christ looks like in the midst of what you're going through rather than praying for circumstances to change—sometimes you go through fire but come out without a trace of it.
🚫 Q: How should I respond when people ask how I'm doing during hardship? A: Don't identify with trials—avoid telling your biggest trial and asking for prayer; instead, focus on manifesting Christ in the midst of the trial, refusing to bow to anything but the Lord.
Compassion vs Sympathy
🤝 Q: What's the difference between compassion and sympathy in helping others? A: Compassion pulls people up into Christ and teaches identity, while sympathy empowers staying hurt, gives permission to remain in pain, and guarantees no change.
Unity and Community
🤲 Q: How should believers strive together according to Philippians 1:27? A: Strive together for the unity of the faith with one heart, mind, spirit, and faith—diversity is good but we must have one mind, one spirit for the gospel.
Suffering and Persecution
✊ Q: What does suffering for Christ actually include? A: Suffering for Christ's sake includes being misunderstood and lied about—selfless love is not terrified by adversaries, which proves their destruction and your salvation from God.
⚡ Q: How did Paul demonstrate total surrender despite persecution? A: Paul was whipped and beaten multiple times for preaching salvation through Jesus' grace apart from works, yet boldly preached the same message knowing the pain and recovery time required.
