Teach them to ask questions and become active evaluators of the ideas they encounter.

When you break it down, our children likely encounter more competing ideas in a single year than most people in human history received in an entire lifetime. They're constantly bombarded by messages from shows, advertisements, education, and social media. This is why we need to train them to take a step back from the rapid-fire consumption and simply hit pause. Teach them to ask questions like, "What did I just hear? What is this person actually claiming?" This simple habit wins half the battle. It trains their brains to stop being passive consumers of information and become active evaluators of the ideas they encounter. #ChristianParenting #CriticalThinking #BiblicalWorldview
