wait...hugh ross says the nephilim violated the laws of physics and the bible explains why

Dr. Hugh Ross is an astrophysicist. He studies the cosmos for a living. And when he sat down to explain who the Nephilim were in Genesis 6 he did something no Bible teacher I have ever heard has done before. He applied the laws of physics to their height. And what he found is disturbing. The shortest Nephilim we see in Scripture is Goliath. Using the most conservative Hebrew measurement Goliath was at least 9 feet 9 inches tall. The king of Bashan had a bed made of iron that was at least 13 feet long. And Hugh Ross — an astrophysicist — says that a human being that tall should not be able to function. He should not be able to walk. He should definitely not be able to carry 250 pounds of weaponry and armor into battle. There is a reason land animals don't get bigger than elephants. Gravity wins. And yet the Nephilim did all of these things. Which means Hugh Ross — a scientist — just confirmed what the Bible has been saying all along. The Nephilim were not just tall humans. They were supernatural.
