Names in the biblical Gospels compared to Gnostic Gospels

There are a number of interesting internal verifications that can be done to show the truthfulness of the biblical Gospels as early, accurate, eyewitness testimony (especially compared to the later forgeries of the Gnostic and other apocryphal literature). One that is easily (and understandably) overlooked when you read through the Gospels is the correlation of name accuracy for the exact time and place they claim to be writing.
