Part of the definition of distraction is that you're not aware it's happening. The world is constantly trying to distract you from your walk with God. The world is intentional in its efforts to claim your life, so you have to be intentional in defending it. If you want to support the work I'm doing to reach young people with the truth of Jesus, you can donate here: https://www.onehopeonetruth.org/cadensnodgrass Join the Discord Community: https://discord.gg/P7mPjjUF7f My vision for this channel is to start a community that makes an impact on this world. I want to talk about and encourage discussion about the topics that actually matter in our Christian walk. Why is it that after Jesus died, the apostles spread and changed the world in a way that we're still experiencing the effects of today, and yet we don't make much of an impact at all? Why is it that we're so filled with fear and turmoil when Philippians 4:7 describes a peace in God that surpasses understanding? Why is it that depression and hopelessness are horrifically wide spread when God is the source of joy and hope? Why is it that we let the world shape how we view life and the people around us when we are called to be different? The world is constantly, desperately searching for answers, for something more. For a reason for life. The thing that we're all searching for, and can never find, is found in Jesus. We're all searching for God, but don't always realize it. He is the answer to all the problems and struggles and hardships. He offers a salvation from ourselves. We just have to choose it. So join me as I strive to follow God and make waves in the stagnant waters of the world. I would hugely appreciate if you would subscribe to the channel and join the discord community. Engage with the others here and be a part of a change.
