SPIRITUAL GIFTS ASSESSMENT 👉🏼 https://beresolute.org/sga/ CALL OUT: Thanks to the Prayer Team. All those who faithfully pray for those posting prayer requests on our Prayer Wall. This is a huge effort led by Todd Hansen. Thanks, Todd, for organizing all this. In the remainder of Nehemiah 7, we encounter an extensive genealogical record. It's similar to what we find in Ezra 2:1-70, containing a list of the general population, priests, Levites, temple servants, and sons of Solomon's servants, totaling 42,360 individuals. The primary purpose of this list is to verify Israel's connection to its past, enabling them to begin the process of reestablishing a future after their captivity. Once authenticity is established, it lays the foundation for the potential reestablishment of Jerusalem as a center for religious and political matters, which has been Nehemiah's ultimate goal all along. Rebuilding the wall was merely a means to this end. Nehemiah comprehended his unique calling and role in the annals of history. He was acutely aware of the efforts of Zerubbabel and Ezra before him. These men played a pivotal role in different phases of the restoration of Jerusalem and the Jewish community after the Babylonian exile. Zerubbabel led the initial effort, overseeing the reconstruction of the Temple and the restoration of worship and spiritual life. Ezra's efforts focused on religious reform and the reestablishment of the Mosaic Law. Finally, Nehemiah's endeavors centered on the walls and the city's administration. Together, these three individuals played distinct roles that spanned approximately 50 years, all with the ultimate goal of restoring and reviving Jerusalem and the Jewish community. When believers and Christian leaders see the tri-fold connection between their God-given gifts, a God-given opportunity, and God's ultimate goal, they discover a divine convergence. Believers who search for, live, and lead like this play a pivotal role in the chronicles of time. They always look, listen, and live in the red-hot center of God's will, weeding out wickedness and assessing everything they think, say, and do. Thus, they find themselves woven into a divine story. A story that links the past and the future. For into this city, a Prophet, Priest, and King would eventually ride, and he would bring about a greater restoration, reconstruction, and reestablishment that would restore all mankind to God. Don't you want to be a leader like that? I do. So start seeing that trifold connection between your gifts, the opportunity, and God's ultimate goal, and get out there and do something about it. You might even start with a Spiritual Gifts Assessment. #Nehemiah, #convergence, #gifts, #spiritualgifts, #leadership, #leadershipimpact, #gospel ASK THIS: Have you ever experienced a moment in your life where you felt a deep sense of alignment between your unique gifts, an opportunity, and what you believe to be God's ultimate goal? Share that experience and how it impacted your life. In what ways can we actively seek and discern this divine convergence in our own lives, just as Nehemiah did? What steps can we take to ensure we are aligning our gifts and actions with God's purpose for us? Nehemiah, Zerubbabel, and Ezra each played pivotal roles in different phases of Jerusalem's restoration. How does this historical example inspire you to consider your role in God's overarching plan, even in your daily life? What are some practical ways we can lead and make an impact within our communities, workplaces, or families by recognizing the connection between our spiritual gifts, the opportunities around us, and God's ultimate goal for humanity? DO THIS: Take the Assessment and pray for convergence and lead. PRAY THIS: Lord, as I reflect on the divine convergence of my gifts, opportunities, and Your ultimate purpose, guide me to discover my unique role in Your grand narrative and empower me to lead with purpose, just as Nehemiah did. May I faithfully seek Your will and strive to make a positive impact on those around me, weaving my story into Your eternal plan. Amen. PLAY THIS: Revelation Song.
