Walk the streets of ancient Ephesus with us—from the agora and Marble Street to the Library façade, terrace houses, bath complexes, and the (currently restored) theater—and see how Scripture comes alive in its real-world setting. Along the way we explore artifacts tied to emperor worship, the famed Temple of Artemis (Diana), harbor silt and trade routes, and why the imperial cult mattered so much for the early church’s discipleship. As we tour, we connect archaeology and biblical interpretation: Acts’ references to the synagogue and the hall of Tyrannus, how hypocaust heating created “sauna” rooms, and why statues of emperors like Domitian help illuminate Revelation’s imagery of the “beast.” This on-site Bible study blends historical context, Christian theology, and practical discipleship—so we can read the New Testament the way its first hearers in Asia Minor would have understood it.
