Operate from forgiveness, not bitterness.

I’ve learned that it is so much easier to live from a place of forgiveness than from a place of bitterness. Not easier in the moment, not easier in the flesh, but easier when you look back and see the peace that came from choosing to let things go instead of carrying them. Bitterness is heavy. Unforgiveness is heavy. It follows you into every conversation, every thought, every relationship. Forgiveness doesn’t mean what they did was okay, and it doesn’t mean you have to give people access to your life. You can forgive someone and still have boundaries. You can forgive someone and still keep distance. You can forgive someone and still be wise. The goal isn’t to keep everyone in your life, the goal is to keep your heart right before God. Protect your peace, guard your heart, and be kind even if they are not kind back. At the end of the day, forgiveness isn’t always for them, sometimes it’s so that you can live free. #christian #inspiration #biblestudy Join us in our daily Bible study! Heartdive.org/start
