A new archaeological discovery at biblical Shiloh is making the Bible impossible to ignore. In Joshua 18:1, the Bible says: "The entire Israelite community assembled at Shiloh and set up the tent of meeting there." For thousands of years, that was simply the biblical account. Now, in 2026, archaeologists excavating at Shiloh have uncovered monumental remains and worship-related artifacts that they believe may help reconstruct the Tabernacle complex described in Scripture. The research team has been careful to clarify: They have NOT found the Ark of the Covenant. But each new discovery brings us closer to understanding the place where the Bible says the Ark once rested.
