Not Every "Prophecy" Is From God

The recent controversy surrounding figures connected to Bethel circles has once again raised a serious question for the Church: what is biblical prophecy - and what is not? When people claim to speak in God’s name, the standard cannot be emotion, popularity, or platform influence. The standard must always be Scripture. Throughout the Bible, prophecy was never treated lightly. It was tested, weighed, and held accountable. Sadly, when spiritual authority is abused, real people are hurt. That’s why discernment matters. The solution is not to abandon the gifts of the Spirit, but to return to the biblical definition and boundaries that God Himself gave.
