The bigger question isn’t simply how long creation took, but what Genesis is actually claiming. Does Genesis teach that: God intentionally created the world? Humans were uniquely created in God’s image? Adam and Eve were historical figures connected to the fall? Those issues directly shape how we understand sin, redemption, and the gospel.
