Embarrassed by their text Muslim Translators copied the BIBLE! (#09)

It seems that many of the Muslim translators were embarrassed by the words the Qur'an uses, and so decided to defer to the Bible to find a translation which would fit the Biblical context. Here are a number of examples which Murad puts forward: 21) Surah12:23 - The word used in this story about Joseph is 'rawadatoo', which according to the translators is 'sexual seduction', that Joseph was seduced by the wife of Pharaoh. In Surah 12:61 - The same word is translated as 'convinced' or 'coaxed', which is the correct meaning of this word. So, why did the Muslim translators change it to 'seduce'? Because that is what happened to Joseph in the Biblical story, so they borrowed that word instead. 22) Surah 27:44 - In the story of the Queen of Sheba the queen is said to have entered Solomon's 'Sarha', which the translators render as 'palace'. But that is not the correct translation for this word. In Surah 28:38 the same Arabic word 'sarha' is translated 'tower', which is the correct meaning for this word. So, why did they change it to 'palace'? Because it fits the context better, and supports the story in the Bible. 23) Surah 34:2 - The word 'zaharajah' is translated here as 'ascends', which is not correct. In Surah 48:17 the same word is translated as disabled, or came, which is correct. So, in surah 34:2 the word should be translated as 'climbed' as that is what you do to get to heaven. While there is not much of a difference, the Muslim translation is inconsistent and clumsy. 24) Surah 21:91 - The word 'naqarqa' in the context of Mary receiving the baby Isa is translated as 'breathed', but that is not what this word means in Arabic. In Surahs 18:96 and 18:99 the same word 'naqarqa' is rendered as 'blow', which is the correct translation. The Muslim translators didn't want the angel Gabriel 'blowing' into Mary, so they followed the Biblical context and rendered it 'breathed' instead, making it more acceptable, but incorrect as a proper translation. 25) Surah 26:128 The word 'ayatan' is translated here as 'verse', but that is not what the word 'aya' means. The better translation for this word is 'sign', or 'landmark', but that wouldn't fit the context very well, so the translators borrowed once again from the Bible and rendered this word 'verse', though that word cannot be found anywhere in the Qur'an. If they had left it as it was it would have helped them understand what the mysterious letters that are found preceding many of the Surahs in the Qur'an. The word 'sign' for these letters would make much more sense, as many of the verses in the Qur'an were borrowed Christian Syriac hymns and lectionaries written to be sung or chanted, and these 'ayas' would have been signs for the singer or chanter to know what key to sing the hymn or chant the lectionary in.
