How People-Pleasing Was Killing My Relationship with God

“Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.” - Galatians 1: 10 I used to be a major people pleaser. Always trying to fit in, be liked, and avoid rejection. But I didn’t realise how much it was affecting my relationship with God, especially in high school. In this video, I share my personal struggle with people-pleasing as a Christian teenager, how it pulled me away from my faith, and what helped me stop conforming to the world.
