Not Every Thought Is From God...

A lot of Christians talk about being “led by the Holy Spirit,” but very few stop and ask how the Holy Spirit actually leads us practically. Does He only lead through emotions? Random feelings? Romans 8 says something very important: “To set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.” That means your mind matters. Your focus matters. What you meditate on matters. The Holy Spirit does not lead us into confusion, chaos, or fleshly thinking. He transforms the way we think so that our mind becomes aligned with truth instead of being controlled by the flesh, emotions, fear, pride, or worldly wisdom.
