The Power of the Gospel and Redemption Key Insights: 🚫 Guilt, condemnation, and shame are three major struggles Christians deal with, but they are lies of the devil and anti-finished work of Jesus. ✝️ The Gospel has nothing to do with just praying for God to make things work for us, but rather about letting Him live in us and changing our motives and reason for being. ✝️ He paid a price not to just forgive me to live in me and give me new life. ✝️ "Unless the seed dies and falls to the ground, it abides alone, but if it would ever just die and fall to the ground, it can spring up and bear much fruit." ✝️ Nothing's lost in God, but everything you were apart from Him, and He can bring you to the place you'd have been if you'd have known Him the whole time. ✝️ Jesus says to believers, "You're the light of the world, you're the roster of Heaven, you're the best I've got, so let your light so shine before men, so they see your life and glorify the father." 🏃‍♂️ We're not just here to be forgiven, we're here to become what he created us to be, we're here to take on Christ and manifest him in our lives. ✝️ Overcoming evil with good is the gospel, and it's a powerful thing when you can walk in the light and not be consumed by betrayal. ❤️ If Jesus said follow me it must be possible, He said the things I do you'll do if you believe. The Nature of God and Faith 📖 If you don't love, it's because you don't know him, that's the only reason, not one of two or one of many. 🙏 "I never woke up in 29 years for somebody to like me. I woke up to be like him and that empowers me to love you whether you agree with me or not." 🙏 "Your prayer never heals the sick, never has, never will, it's your faith in him and his love for people." 🙏 "There's nothing in that whole Arena that I haven't seen healed over and over and over nothing nothing over and over and over." ✝️ "If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to the mountain move and the mountain will move and nothing will be impossible for you." ✝️ "Faith is not a point in time, it's not a hit or miss, win or lose, it's not maybe he will, maybe he won't, faith is the position of your heart to believe what he accomplished and you live there." The Problem of Self-Centeredness 🤝 Self-centeredness can't take responsibility, it puts the blame on others, as seen in Adam's response to God, "The woman you gave me, she gave me to eat." 🙏 The biggest problem on the planet is every day men wake up and live for themselves when they're made for God's image. 🙏 The biggest problem in my life was me living for me, and I made it everything else, God, the lust, the fornication, the anger, the frustration, it was just me getting violated, me getting trespassed, me not getting my way, me, me, me. Living a Life of Purpose and Obedience 🚫 The goal is not just to stop using or doing something bad, but to become the person God created you to be, and if you become that person, you'll never go back to your old ways.
