Jesus Calms the Storm | Day 279 | Chronological Bible Podcast

Day 279 | Matthew 13:10-23; Luke 8:9-18; Mark 4:21-29; Matthew 13:24-30; Mark 4:30-34; Matthew 13:31-52; Mark 4:35-41; Matthew 8:23-27; Luke 8:22-25 In today’s reading, Jesus calms the storm on the Sea of Galilee. As the waves crashed and the boat filled with water, the disciples panicked while Jesus slept. But with a word, He rebuked the wind and the sea, and all was calm. Terrified and amazed, the disciples asked, “Who is this man?” This story reveals six powerful truths: God is never caught off guard, Jesus is the one we must run to, all creation submits to Him, He is all-powerful, His hard questions draw us closer, and His promises always come true. When Jesus says we’re going to the other side, we can trust Him to bring us safely through the storm.
