Whitley Strieber wrote Communion in 1987. It became the most famous alien contact book ever written. The grey alien on the cover triggered memories in millions of people worldwide who had their own encounters. And when he sat down with Area52 this week he said something that stopped me completely. These beings are not demons. And then he said something even more disturbing. Killing is only an incident compared to what they can do. They can control the conditions of the soul. And then to prove it they removed him from his body and placed him in a small white container he could not escape. Because Strieber says calling these beings demonic is dangerous. He says it makes us helpless. He uses the Aztec example — 90 million people became 9 million slaves in 100 years because they misunderstood what Cortez was. And here is where I respectfully disagree. Father Ripperger — who has performed hundreds of exorcisms — documented that alien abductions stop the instant someone cries out the name of Jesus. Instantly. Every time. That is not helplessness. That is the most powerful weapon in the universe. And Whitley Strieber himself admits it — if you say this is supernatural and all you can do is pray — you are saying you are helpless. But prayer is not helplessness. Prayer is the most powerful offensive weapon a Christian has.
