Understanding: Growing In What We Know

I believe every human being has an inborn desire to understand. Take children for example. There was an age where my children started asking questions all the time. Questions about simple things that lead to profound dialogue. Because as you know the simple questions are often most profound. And require challenging answers.
So here is my sister-in-law dialoguing with her 4-year-old
Kendall: "Mom how does the baby get in the mom's tummy?"
Mom: "God gives the mom a baby"
Kendall: "Yeah but how does God get it in their moms tummy"
Mom: "Well it's kind of like a seed, like a flower grows from a tiny seed a baby starts out like a seed & then they grow bigger until they are ready to come out"
Kendall: "But how does that seed get in her tummy"
Mom: In frustration "I don't know"
Kendall: "Maybe you should look it up on your phone mom so we know"
Proof that we want to know.
