The Qur'an: In search of the non-existent book (Nigeria Interview)

Korede, from 'The Seasoned Apologist' channel (see https://www.youtube.com/c/SApologist/videos) did an hour's interview with Jay this week from Nigeria. He wanted Jay to unpack the background behind the many problems with the Qur'an, which everyone's been hearing about. Jay began by going through some of the internal problems with the Qur'an, pointing to the many contradictions, as well as the irrelevancy of many of its teachings for the the 21st century, suggesting that it was due to these problems that Muslims needed to find other avenues of authority for their revelation. Thus, the reason they have, over the centuries, chosen to elevate its historical credibility, claiming that it is the only revelation which is eternal, as well as the only one sent down from heaven, that it was complete in 652 AD, and that since then the Qur'an we have today is exactly like the Qur'an preserved in heaven, sent to Muhammad, and canonized by Uthman, including every letter and every word in tact and without one change. The problem is that it was only a matter of time before the Western world began to investigate their claims and started to apply a historical critique of the Qur'an, which has been taking place, especially this year, since that disastrous interview between Yasir Qadhi and Mohammad Hijab on June 8. Due to these many problems, Jay's conclusion was that Muslims needed to turn elsewhere for an authoritative and more credible revelation, and offered them the Bible as a brilliant alternative.
