Reading Him in Light of the Scriptures

Friends, we cannot understand the resurrection of Christ apart from the Scriptures. Those who witnessed the resurrection weren't trading in myths, legends, or stories. Instead, they describe a powerful and vivid truth like an earthquake shaking the very foundations of their lives. The aftershocks of that great earthquake are still being felt today—especially during the Easter Vigil.
