Jeroboam thought he needed the wisdom of his advisors. He thought this demonstrated humility and wisdom on his part. But the problem is that he was asking for advice about topics to which God had already clearly spoken. He didn't need advice. He didn't wisdom. He didn't need strategy. He needed OBEDIENCE. This is what the Pro-Life Movement needs to understand. God's Word is true and inerrant. God is powerful and sovereign.
