What if the people our world forgets… were the very ones Jesus calls us to remember? In Matthew’s Gospel, Jesus spoke of a day when He would separate those who fed the hungry, cared for the sick, and visited the imprisoned—from those who turned away. God Behind Bars exists to make sure no one is forgotten. Since 2009, we’ve launched prison churches across the country, bringing worship, preaching, and prayer to tens of thousands of inmates every week. Through the groundbreaking Pando App, the first Christian app ever approved inside U.S. prisons, over 2.5 million inmates and families now have 24/7 access to Bibles, sermons, devotionals, and worship music. And through powerful family reunification events—from Christmas dinners to Daddy Daughter dances—children of incarcerated parents are experiencing moments once stolen by incarceration. The impact is undeniable: ✅ 1.1 million+ decisions for Jesus ✅ 10,000+ inmates worshiping weekly in 75+ prison churches ✅ Thousands of families reunited every single year But this is just the beginning. By the end of this decade, our vision is to reach 95% of the U.S. inmate population with the hope of Jesus and the love of the local church. This is more than a mission. It’s a movement.
