In this video, I begin a three part defense of the doctrine of Eternal Conscious Torment. In this part, I seek to provide the framework I will be defending, and argue that this framework is consistent with the love of God and the justice of God. In the next video, I will argue that it better explains the data of Scripture and tradition than annihilationism or universalism.
