A value hierarchy is (1) the manner in which mind meets world; (2) a story, or a story of stories; (3) explored territory; (4) an interiorized cognitive structure based in motivation, that determines perception and emotion; (4) a collaboration between the individual, nature and culture; (5) the mechanism that regulates hope and anxiety.
