Noah's legendary faith allowed him to look to the future as he refused to be "conformed to this world" in the present (see Romans 12:2). It takes enormous faith to build a boat hundreds of miles inland. Through his simple obedience to God's call to build the ark, Noah preached the news of a coming judgment.
