Islam's Leading Scholar Dr Qadhi admits we only know Muhammad existed "BY FAITH"!

Dr Yasir Qadhi, on July 31, had a 32 minute Q&A with his students at his EPIC center outside Dallas, Texas. A question was asked by a student why he claimed publicly earlier, in July, that Western Academia considers the Hadith Sciences completely "discredited" historically? Note: the Hadith Sciences include the Sira (the biography of Muhammad), the Hadith (the sayings of Muhammad), the Tafsir (the commentaries which explain the Qur'an), and the Tahrikh (the histories of Islam); so, in other words, what Muslims are completely dependent on to know who Muhammad was, and what he said and did. Hatun Tash invited Jay on her DCCI channel to go through this Q&A session with her in order to help us understand the significance of what Dr Qadhi was actually saying. It turns out, that without any written documentation at all from the 7th or 8th century concerning who Muhammad was, or what he said or did, everything Muslims are dependent on for their prophet's very existence is based on 200 - 300 years of Oral Tradition. What's more, according to Dr Qadhi, the only reason that we should even trust the accuracy for these 200-300 years of oral tradition was that those who saw Muhammad and heard what he said were completely pious, and trustworthy, and had such great memories that what they passed on was 100% accurate, and for those reasons we could trust everything they passed on for the subsequent 5-6 generations. Basically what he was suggesting was that everything we know about Muhammad was completely based on hearsay, because not one of the long list of names bothered to write anything down. It turns out that they have all been told a lie. What's more, according to Dr Qadhi, in order to trust what the 'Standard Islamic Narrative' (SIN) claims about their prophet are, all Muslims need to do is one word: FAITH! Thank God that we don't have that problem with what Jesus said and did. And the reason? Because we know that those who were his eye-witnesses wrote it down almost immediately, or within their life-time, so that we can trust what they wrote, and are not forced to simply believe it by FAITH.
