Welcome back to another one of my Christian mom bible study videos in my series, Jesus for Mommies, where I bring a Christian devotional for women or Christian moms who might just need a little more Jesus in their coffee. I think we need more TRULY motivational videos here on Youtube for tired Christian moms, like a daily devotional for moms or even just encouragement for moms that's Christian. That's what I am trying to do here with my Jesus for mommies series; provide mommy inspiration and encouragement for moms that's Christianly and biblically based. Today's devotional for moms focused on why you shouldn't try to be the perfect Christian mom. Why you shouldn't try to be perfect at all. And how that's a harmful ambition for you, your spouse, and your kids. I think we can LIVE in mommy wars here on youtube, where the perfect mom has the perfect house and the perfect car and the perfect marriage and they are showing it off in their video and making us all feel so... NOT ENOUGH. I think we fall into thinking that Christian moms are supposed to be just like that because Jesus was perfect. But I talk about redefining what it looks like to be a perfect mom, especially a perfect Christian mom. As a Christian mom, we are called to be kinda OPPOSITE of that. As a tired Christian mommy YouTuber, I want to be the opposite of that for you guys, and also in my day to day life for my family. So you guys can keep me accountable.
