I know I did. Often romantic ideas include that we think marriage is going to be easy, or that we are going to get our way, or that the other person is going to match our ideals. And when these assumed ideals are not met, we encounter a sobering moment. One that is often sobering about what we have gotten ourselves into. In these moments, we have to do remember three things.
