Blockade of Iranian Ports, 100 Killed in Nigerian Airstrike, and Swalwell Suspends Campaign #shorts

U.S. Central Command says it will begin a blockade of all Iranian ports on Monday after failed peace talks in Pakistan. President Trump demanded that Iran reopen the Strait of Hormuz and told the U.S. Navy to intercept vessels paying tolls to the country. The blockade will allow ships traveling between non-Iranian ports to transit the Strait. A Nigerian Air Force strike targeting jihadi rebels hit a local market in northeastern Nigeria, killing over 100 people. The state government confirmed that a Nigerian military strike was targeting a Boko Haram stronghold in the area. Officials confirmed a misfire but did not provide details. And Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell has suspended his campaign for California governor following sexual assault accusations that he continues to deny.
