LIFT Daily Prayer: The God Who Reveals Secrets | October 1, 2025

Today’s Verse: Daniel 2:28 (NKJV) “But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head upon your bed, were these.” Nebuchadnezzar’s dream left him troubled, but no one could interpret it until Daniel and his friends sought the Lord. God revealed the secret, not because of Daniel’s greatness, but because there is a God in heaven who makes mysteries known. The same is true for us today. God still reveals sometimes to guide us personally, sometimes to warn us, sometimes to confirm His promises. But we must be careful not to confuse our own desires with His voice. Daniel spoke only what God revealed, nothing more. So today, slow down. Seek Him in prayer. Sit quietly in His presence. Ask the Lord to open your heart to what He wants you to know, whether for yourself, for your family, or for someone He places in your path. He is the same God who reveals secrets, and He delights to give wisdom to those who ask.
