A teenage gunman opened fire inside a high school in southeastern Turkey, wounding at least 16 people before taking his own life. Students fled in panic, some even jumping from windows to escape. The motive remains unclear. For the first time in decades, Lebanon and Israel held direct talks in Washington amid ongoing conflict. U.S. officials called it a “historic opportunity,” though Hezbollah opposes the discussions. Leaders are now pushing for a ceasefire and solutions to the growing humanitarian crisis. And in Haiti, hundreds of factory workers protested rising fuel costs and stagnant wages, saying they can no longer afford basic needs.
