Friends, through baptism, every Christian is an anointed priest, prophet, and king meant to be Christ to the world.
This struck me with great power as I stood at my parents' graves recently: They were priests who sanctified me, prophets who spoke of the divine truth, and kings who ordered the family well.
During this year’s Chrism Mass, it was a great joy to share this message—and the example of my parents—with the parishioners of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mankato, Minnesota.
