Did Jesus Replace the Old Testament?

Did Jesus come to replace the Old Testament, revise it, elevate its standards—or fulfill it completely? In Part 4 of our Sermon on the Mount series, we explore one of the most important—and sometimes misunderstood—statements Jesus ever made: “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy, but to fulfill.” Before Jesus addresses murder, adultery, divorce, and many other challenging subjects, He establishes the foundation for everything that follows. This gives me tremendous confidence that I can trust my entire Bible as the God-breathed Word of God because the same Holy Spirit who inspired the Old Testament inspired the New.
