This week, our team traveled across the country to cover three powerful family reunifications in just three days—giving incarcerated parents the chance to spend Christmas with their children, some for the very first time. We began at Central Church in Las Vegas, NV, where families were reunited in a night filled with joy, tears, and hope. From there, we flew to Bartlett TDCJ in Austin, TX, marking the FIRST EVER family reunification inside a Texas prison facility. Then we finished the journey at Allred Unit in Dallas, TX, where parents waited with Christmas gifts they carefully chose for their children—gifts they never thought they'd get to hand over in person. 123 kids were given the chance to spend Christmas with their incarcerated parent—a moment many of them have prayed for, dreamed of, and never expected to experience.
