God Promises Judgment on Wicked Babylon | Day 214 | Chronological Bible Podcast

Day 214 | Habakkuk 1:1–3:19; Zephaniah 1:1–2:7 Today’s reading from Habakkuk and Zephaniah reveals the raw honesty of a prophet wrestling with God’s plan. Habakkuk pleads for justice, only to learn that God will use Babylon—a nation even more wicked than Judah—to bring judgment. Though confused, Habakkuk reaffirms God's goodness and chooses to wait in faith. God responds with a promise: the proud will fall, but the righteous will live by faith. Meanwhile, Zephaniah warns of the coming Day of the Lord, calling people to seek humility before judgment arrives. Through it all, we’re reminded that God is trustworthy, even when we don’t understand His timing or methods.
