If we really believe Christ has the power to over come sin, yet we tell no one about Him do we really believe He does?
The message we convey when we say nothing to the world burning down around us is that we think Jesus is one of the ways to make it better, but not the only way.
When we donโt speak of the life change Jesus brings to those that desperately need Him we shouldnโt be surprised that they are unconvinced about our message.
You donโt have to force someone to talk about something they love.
Spend two seconds around someone that loves Lord Of The Rings and they will tell you all about the issues found in the show Rings Of Power.
Spend sometime watching sports with your friends and they wonโt shut up about the best and worst players on their team.
Say anything about Taylor Swift online and in a matter of seconds watch her fans dogpile anyone that dare speak badly about her music.
Yet when asking a believer about the time they spent in prayer this week youโll be met with a โI havenโt had time.โ
If we are ambassadors, and we should be 2 Cor. 5:20, then we are pretty terrible ones most the time. Either not acting as ambassadors or speaking in such a way to shame our King Jesus.
Iโm not saying this to discourage you, rather Iโm saying it in hopes we will all be convicted. Convicted not necessarily to fight a culture war, at least not in the traditional sense, but rather pursue Jesus as actual disciples would.
Making time to be in the scriptures, studying with other believers, being in prayer, and living in ways that arenโt just mora but Christ-like.
Doing and saying nothing, or doing and saying things in the wrong way, isnโt helpful and actual communicates that we donโt care if the whole world goes to hell.
Be in prayer, stand firm in Christ, and fellowship in a local church.
Praying for you as I trust you pray for me.
