The words, i.e., confession, that leave your lips must be supported by the life you live. Inward orientation and outward action are connected. I asked in an earlier episode that What increasingly captures your attention, directs your decisions, and defines your values? That could just as easily be turned from a profound question into a profound statement by substituting a period for the question mark at the end… "What increasingly captures your attention directs your decisions and defines your values." In other words - what we think eventually works itself from our heart into our actions. So this “confession” with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, to be a true confession, should be accompanied by actions in your life that clearly identify Jesus as your Lord. This confession is much more than lip service. You’re all in, or you’re not in at all.
