Hatun Tash discuss the ramifications of the killings by Usman Khan on November 29th, in the Fishmonger's Hall, next to London Bridge in a Livestream. Below are their main points of concern:
1) Early Release Program: Labour, under Tony Blair dictated any prisoners serving a determinate sentence would serve half of their sentence in custody before being released on licence. Thus, Usman Khan walked free in December last year (2012-2018) and was then able to come to the Fishmonger hall, without a chaperone within the 1st year.
2) Fishmonger’s Hall: The irony, or idiocy of Cambridge University choosing to have their conference on prisoner rehabilitation (including Muslim terrorists) at the very bridge where two years earlier 8 others were killed by Muslim terrorists. Would we allow a similar conference on such a subject next to ground zero here in NY city?
3) Searches: There is no evidence (as yet) that Usman was searched as he entered the Fishmonger's Hall. Was this for Political Correctness, or was he deemed a model prisoner?
4) Ankle Tags: Khan was electronically tagged - and a fat lot of good that did. It shows that this will not keep people safe.
5) Fake Suicide Vests: Usman and the previous killers wore Fake Suicide Vests to induce terror (see Surah 8:60) and to be killed and become Shaihds = Martyrs ( Surah 47:5-6 & 9:111)
6) Parallel Atrocities: Usman copied exactly what happened 2 years earlier at the same spot. Those jihadis wore fake suicide vests, used knives, & were killed by the police intentionally.
7) The Victims: Both 28-year-old PhD graduate Jack Merritt (‘Learning Together’), and Saskia Jones, a 25-year old Cambridge University MA graduate, both criminologists, believed Jihadis could be rehabilitated, thus, the reason for the ceremony on Nov. 29th.
8) ‘Learning Together’ Program: Usman was at the conference to speak as an example of the ‘Learning Together’ program's success. He showed just the opposite, and came prepared, with a knife and fake vest, killing 2, and wounding 3.
9) Recant Letter: Usman had been let out early last year after denouncing radical Islam and denouncing any more use of violence (The Daily Mail has published his confessional letter). Does this not prove we cannot believe anything they tell us.
10) Taqiyya: In his letter, Usman said that he was reformed, and that he no longer believed in an extremist form of Islam and wanted to be rehabilitated in the DDP program. Again, should we trust what Jihadis say?
11) DDP Program: Usman was part of the DDP (Desistance and Disengagement Program), which starts from the premise that Muslim jihadis are: in need of an identity, have low self-esteem, as well as no meaning or purpose, and need psychological support, and theological and ideological advice. Can you see how this is so Western and Secular, reflecting Western prisoners, with little understanding of Islam or of real Muslims.
12) Western Criminals: Western prisoners tend to be from working class neighbourhoods, often from broken families, with little education, who are non-religious, and grow up as social misfits, and thus have an identity crisis, which usually leads to drugs and drink, and then to criminal activities.
13) Muslim radical Criminals: Usman already had his identity in Islam, and that is where he got his self-esteem, as well as his purpose in life from. He doesn't want to be de-radicalized, because that would divorce him from his identity, his self-esteem, as well as his meaning and purpose for everything he believes. He wasn’t a social misfit, uneducated, nor from a broken
family, and wasn’t into drink and drugs, nor anti-social criminality.
14) Western De-Islamization: DPP also “confronts the Radical Narrative”. How? By denying the Qur’an, or the Traditions? What does it replace it with? Humanism, Atheism, Christianity? Will there be programs to De-Christianize us, concerning LGBTism?
15) Solution: If you want to understand and change the actions of a radical Muslim, you had better begin by reading the Qur'an, and reading the biography of their prophet Muhammad. There you will find the violence which is being evidenced almost daily around the world by Muslims against those they disagree with.
16) Christian Solution: Christians are the only ones who have a solution for these radical Muslims, because we have a much better book, and much more peaceful book, and a much better man, and certainly a much more peaceful man to 'come home' to; namely, the Bible and Jesus Christ.
CONCLUSION: If you really want to rehabilitate jihadis, you are going to have to change your narrative, and look at what really motivates them, which is one book and one man, but no one dares adopt that narrative, because then they will have to confront them, and that's something they dare not do...but we can, and we are, and we will continue to do so!
