Day 278 | Luke 8:1-3; Mark 3:20-30; Matthew 12:22-45; Mark 3:31-35; Matthew 12:46-50; Luke 8:19-21; Mark 4:1-9; Matthew 13:1-9; Luke 8:4-8; Mark 4:10-20
Today’s reading brings us to one of Jesus’s most important parables: the sower and the seed. Jesus explains that the Word of God is like seed scattered on different soils—hard paths, rocky ground, thorny patches, and good soil. Some hear but quickly fall away, some let worry or riches choke out the Word, but those with receptive hearts bear lasting fruit. The challenge is clear: what kind of soil will we be? A saved life should be a changed life, producing a harvest for God’s kingdom.
