Not everyone who talks about God truly represents Him. So how do you discern who you should trust spiritually? Look at the fruit. 🌱 1 Timothy 3 gives us a clear picture of the character and qualifications of a spiritual leader. It’s not just about how powerful they preach, how many people follow them, or what happens on the stage. Ask:• Are they above reproach?• Do they have a good reputation inside and outside the home?• Are they teaching sound doctrine?• Does their life actually reflect what they preach? Because when you submit yourself to someone’s leadership, you’re giving them influence over your soul. You wouldn’t let just anyone perform surgery on you without checking their credentials.
