Numbers 1, from our study, 04 Numbers - 2013, with Skip Heitzig from Calvary Albuquerque. MESSAGE SUMMARY The book of Numbers describes the wanderings of the nation of Israel in the wilderness. Because of their disobedience, what could've been an 11-day journey to the Promised Land turned into a 40-year trial. In this study, we see the reason for the book's title: the censuses in chapters 1 and 26. As we examine the list in chapter one, we learn about God's personal and caring nature.
