Second Round of Peace Talks, School Shooting in Turkey, and Rep. Gonzales Resigns #shorts

Pakistani officials on Tuesday said Islamabad has proposed a second round of peace talks to end the War in Iran. The announcement came after Vice President JD Vance indicated that negotiations with Tehran had made some progress. Meanwhile, ships are reportedly transiting the Strait of Hormuz without issue. An assailant opened fire at a high school in southeastern Turkey, wounding at least 16 people, with several in serious condition. The attacker later turned the gun on himself. The motive remains unclear, but local media reports that the assailant had made threats on social media. And Rep. Tony Gonzales of Texas says he will retire from Congress after bipartisan calls to expel him. Gonzales had already said he would not seek reelection after admitting to an affair with a staffer who later died by suicide. He became the second member of congress to resign in as many days.
