Captives Set Free
God Behind Bars
testimony
November 16, 2021
More than 2.1 million inmates are in prison in the U.S. at any time-- the highest incarceration rate worldwide. The majority of them might not even have access to the Gospel, especially over these last two years during the pandemic when in-person prison church services shut down. That’s 2 million people who have most certainly lost hope that anyone loves, thinks about, or cares about them. Pando exists to change that.
We partner with local and national churches to stream Bible-based messages, devotionals, worship music, podcasts, and more directly onto inmate tablets, all for free (always) on our app. Pando is the first app of its kind allowed in U.S. prisons, and even provides the first digital Bible and interactive prayer wall available behind bars.
Before 2021 ends, our goal is to reach 200,000 prison tablets with the PandoApp and 200,000 inmates with the Gospel. When you give a gift of just $18 per tablet, you are helping to actively reach the people we are commanded to remember in Hebrews chapter 13 with the love and hope of Jesus Christ.
Every single gift helps one more person see that it’s still possible for them to have a relationship with God, stay connected to their faith, and improve their lives with hope and healing, even while incarcerated.
