BIBLE STUDY TIPS: how to read the bible for beginners

Bible study tips and how to read the bible for beginners- today I am sharing 2 things to NEVER DO in your Christian bible study. Today we are talking about 2 things I always try NOT to do in my bible study time. These approaches can just lead to bad hermeneutics and applications to the Christian life, but are way too common in the church nowadays. Especially among younger Christians who are developing their approach to the Bible and how to read the bible for beginners. Today we are discussing two bible study tips that I apply to basically every Christian bible study lesson or devotional that I do, that kind of are based off of or feed off of "How to Read the Bible for all its Worth" by Fee and Stuart. It's so important as Christians, especially for new Christians learning how to read the bible for beginners, when we study our bibles, or approach the scriptures, to know what we are reading, like what type of literature it is and how it's supposed to be read, that's basic hermeneutics. But it's super important so that we don't misuse the scriptures or mis-interpret them! Thus, I wanted to share these basic bible study tips with y'all for your Christian bible study time or while leading Christian bible study lessons so that you know you are doing right by the scriptures. These two bible study tips are meant to inform you of not only how I study my bible, but also the basics of how to have your own in-depth bible study. How I study the bible is something I have had to learn, like a skill or discipline and so whenever I find something that's simple and sharable in a simple youtube bible study video, I think I will share it, because these are priceless skills for the Christian bible study. And priceless for beginners to learn, while studying how to read the bible for beginners. And they are crucial to how to read the bible for all its worth and how to read the bible effectively! This is really important for young believers or newer Christians learning how to read the bible for beginners. I pray these bible study tips inspire and encourage you to go dive deep into the scriptures and read "How to Read the Bible for All it's Worth". I pray that my caveat, that God is way bigger than our inabilities to do everything perfect or to read our bibles perfectly, encourages you that you don't have to be a master of the bible to taste and see that the Lord is good!
