FIRST GALANTINES DAY IN A WOMENS PRISON

This week we had the opportunity to gather 177 inmates in a Florida women’s correctional facility to have our first ever Galentines day. We got to transform their prison chapel with decorations, flowers, ribbons, and color. We shared a meal with them gave them each a rose and a journal. One lady shared with a member of our team that no one had ever given her flowers in her life. and another lady said, that she hadn’t smelled a rose in 19 years since her incarceration We then had several speakers who shared the good news of Jesus with these ladies, many of which had never heard the gospel before. 25 inmates gave their lives to Jesus. After the event we had the opportunity to baptize 35 ladies.
