Why Christianity Struggles to Survive in Rural Alaska

There are a lot of places in the United States where you can find a church in every corner…but as many of you have pointed out, there are a lot of details and nuances about the reality of particular regions that remain unseen. That’s why the Neighborhoods and Nations team took a trip to Alaska, a state of extremes—from over 60 days of total darkness in the winter, to over 80 days of total sunlight in the summer; from small towns filled with congregations, to remote communities that have never heard the gospel at all.
