I am thankful that I have the foundation of God’s Word to stand on—even when it’s hard to submit to, even when obedience is costly. As Christians, we are called to walk in the light and to live under constant submission to Scripture. That is the only foundation that will hold, because it does not change. The winds and sands of culture shift constantly. The virtue signal you’re expected to perform today will be replaced by a different one tomorrow.
